Audit Log
The audit log records every action taken on your emails through MailFellow. It provides a complete history of who did what, when, and from which platform, useful for accountability, compliance, and debugging.
Plan requirement: Audit Log is available on the Business plan and above.
What Gets Logged
Every action performed via your chat platform is recorded:
- Replies sent:who replied, to whom, via which platform
- Threads resolved:who marked a thread as resolved
- Senders blocked:who blocked a sender
- Emails deleted:who deleted an email
- Assignments:who assigned or unassigned a thread, and to whom
- Quick replies used:which shortcut was used
- Emails sent:new emails composed via the send command
- Thanks sent:automated thank-you responses
Viewing the Audit Log
- Go to Settings > Audit
- The most recent 100 actions are displayed
Log Entry Fields
Each entry in the audit log contains:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Timestamp | When the action occurred |
| Actor | The team member who performed the action (name and platform user ID) |
| Action | What was done (e.g. "reply_sent", "thread_resolved", "sender_blocked") |
| Detail | Additional context (e.g. the reply content, blocked email address) |
| Platform | Which platform the action was taken from (Discord, Slack, Teams, etc.) |
Multi-Platform Tracking
If your team uses multiple platforms (e.g. some members on Slack, others on Discord), the audit log tracks which platform each action came from. This gives you full visibility across all connected platforms.
Data Export
Audit logs are included in the data export (GDPR right to data portability). When you download your data, audit entries are part of the export file.
