VIP Contacts
Mark important contacts as VIP so their emails are highlighted and easy to spot. VIP emails get visual priority in your forwarding channel, helping your team respond faster to key people.
How It Works
When an email arrives from a VIP contact, MailFellow adds a VIP indicator to the message in your chat platform. This makes it immediately visible that the email deserves priority attention.
- VIP emails are visually distinguished from regular emails
- Works across all platforms (Discord, Slack, Teams, Telegram, Mattermost, WhatsApp)
- VIP status is per-account, so each connected email account can have its own VIP list
Adding VIP Contacts
Add manually
- Go to Settings > VIP
- Enter the contact's email address and optionally a name
- Click Add
Bulk import from CSV
- Go to Settings > VIP
- Click Import
- Upload a
.csvfile with one contact per line
CSV format:
john@example.com
jane@example.com,Jane Doe
ceo@company.com,CEO NameThe first column is the email address (required). The second column is the display name (optional).
Bulk import from Excel
- Go to Settings > VIP
- Click Import
- Upload an
.xlsxfile
MailFellow reads the first two columns: email in column A, name in column B. The first row can be a header (it will be skipped if it does not contain an @ symbol).
Removing VIP Contacts
- Go to Settings > VIP
- Find the contact in the list
- Click the Remove button next to their name
Duplicate Handling
If you import a contact that already exists in your VIP list (same email address for the same account), MailFellow skips it. No duplicates are created.
